Alice Price-Styles is an English writer, filmmaker, and DJ.
Having acted from a young age, she has performed onstage in London and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as well as in short and feature films in Paris and California.
As a journalist she has had work published by cult magazines such as Dazed & Confused and NYLON Magazine, and since 2012 has been a contributing editor at Wax Poetics.
She has interviewed an array of musicians, actors, artists, and poets, including Amiri Baraka, George Clinton, Chuck D, Shock G, Prince Paul, The Avalanches, Dan the Automator, Roxane Mesquida, Josephine de la Baume, Souls of Mischief, Pete Rock, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, Masta Ace, Joe Kay, Slowdive, and Brooke Candy, to name just a few.
As an independent scholar she has had work published by the Cambridge University Press and the International Association for the Study of Popular Music UK.
She has DJed across the globe in Paris, Los Angeles, and London, and you can find her regularly spinning at venues such as The Arts Club and Annabel’s in London.
